On Friday 7 November, Benjamin interviewed Russell live on stage at London’s National Theatre. Afterwards, the authors signed hundreds more - yes, more! - copies of The Writer’s Tale, rendering it practically impossible to find a copy of the book anywhere in the UK that isn’t autographed. A massive turnout from Cardiff - as Russell and Benjamin met hundreds of fans and signed copies of The Writer’s Tale on Friday 10 October, at Borders in the city centre. On Thursday 9 October, Manchester gave Russell and Benjamin the biggest turnout of their “UK tour” so far, as the authors met fans and signed hundreds of copies of The Writer’s Tale. Here are some photos (click on the thumbnails to enlarge):

Hundreds of fans turned out to meet Russell and Benjamin at Waterstone’s in Birmingham, on Thursday 9 October. The manager of the Nationwide next door even asked for the queue to be removed because “it looks like there’s a run on the bank”.
